Wet wipes that are intended to be placed in contact with hands or skin are classified as cosmetic products and must comply with the requirements of Regulation EC No. 1223/2009. The provision of this regulation aims at ensuring that consumer health is protected and that they are well informed by monitoring the composition of labelling of products. The Dirteeze range of impregnated wipes meet the requirements of EC1223/2009 with products manufactured in ISO22716 approved facilities.

In addition to microbiological testing, stability testing, efficacy preservative testing, and epicutaneous panel testing are carried out on all products, ensuring their complete effectiveness, safety and full compliance. Dirteeze also offer approved wipes that comply with additional legislative requirements such as low VOC (volatile organic compounds) or VOC-free items, in line with the latest provisions of the EPA CARB regulations.
